Strategic minerals · Montreal

The source,
not the chain.

Formula7 connects qualified industrial buyers and investors with the producers of the minerals that electric mobility, electronics and defence depend on — with DR Congo at the strategic core, and no layers of intermediaries.

01 — Concentration

The supply is not
diversified. It is held.

A handful of jurisdictions hold the output that the energy transition and the technology race depend on. Every figure below is published-source data, with its reference year — reserves are not production, and production is not exports.

03 — Market research

What the data says,
and what it does not.

We publish the source, the unit and the year — never a number without its provenance. Where a market is moving, the movement is stated with the document that states it.

96,600 t

Cobalt exports now run under quotas

Since October 2025, DR Congo exports are capped — up to 96,600 t a year for 2026–2027. A producing country deciding how much leaves its borders is a structural change for every buyer downstream.

USGS MCS 2026 · 2025 estimates

80 Mt

Copper reserves, world #2 producer

DR Congo mined an estimated 3.2 Mt in 2025, behind Chile's 5.3 Mt — with 80 Mt of reserves in the ground. Reserves are a balance sheet, not a flow: they say nothing about the pace of extraction.

50 / 73 Gt

Phosphate is a Moroccan story

Morocco holds roughly 69% of world phosphate rock reserves — 50 Gt of a 73 Gt total — while mining 36 Mt in 2025. Reserve concentration and production concentration are two different risks.

Six dossiers,
one corridor.

Central and West Africa on one side, Canada on the other: the producing jurisdictions and the capital market that structures them. Each dossier is documented, dated and open.
